“Shalom” means “peace” in Hebrew and is used as a Jewish greeting and farewell. The Shalom Home for Women with Children opened with its first residents in May 2023.

Shalom is a home for women with their dependent children five years old and younger. Renovations began by FORNEO in January 2021 and were completed in May 2023. In all, 6,140 volunteer hours went into turning a dark and spiritually oppressive structure into the hope filled home it is today.
