ABOUT US

What we are.

Friends of Recovery Northeast Ohio (FORNEO) is an organization that provides a healthy, spiritual, residential alternative to individuals burdened by addiction.

Our mission is to establish and provide Christ-centered, “Next Step” living, recovery homes offering hope, healing and restoration for individuals recovering from addictive substances.

Friends of Recovery Northeast Ohio (FORNEO), is a registered, 501 (c) (3), non-profit organization.

Who we are.

Friends of Recovery is a loving community where people help people grow in their recovery.

At Friends of Recovery NE Ohio, we know what it is like to lose hope and direction in life.  We are a group of people who have been there.  We have made the poor choices ourselves or have watched our loved ones choose the wrong road.  Either way, we have all felt alone in this struggle.

Does any of this sound familiar?  If so, we are here to offer hope and share that YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

What we do.

Friends of Recovery provides a safe, supportive, affordable, drug and alcohol free residential environment for individuals in recovery from substance use.

Our homes foster a sense of community while providing security and stability for ALL of our residents. We encourage the transition to independent and healthy living and help provide a strong and healthy support group of peers. We want to see our residents succeed in their new lives.

Our Goal:  To help assure people in recovery have housing. All of our houses are managed in an ethical and honest fashion.

Since 2016, Friends of Recovery NEO has been led by Christ, shepherded by its Founders and Board of Directors and served by a faithful staff of volunteers.

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
